PURPOSE OF THE JOB:  

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures adherence to company policies and provides leadership/guidance/technical to the crew.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:  
•    Direct hourly employees to plan and manage maintenance programs and business metrics
•    Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet daily goals.
•    Ensure effective employee relations through coaching and development and resolves employee issues through problem resolution or confer with management for guidance in resolving employee complaints and or grievances.
•    Read and analyze charts, work orders, maintenance, and production schedules in order to meet customer requirements.
•    Ensure safe operation of all equipment, trains associate as necessary, and promptly investigates and reports all safety concerns.
•    Provide technical direction for Washer, Waste Treatment and Engineering performance.
•    Develop and/or implement training plans to increase employee skills and capabilities.
•    Involved in Maintenance Planning: CMMS System
•    Balances safety, quality, productivity, cost, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas with a focus on continuous improvement in all areas.
•    Inspect materials, product, and equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.  Determine best problem-solving solution.
•    Ensure Company procedures and policies are enforced.
•    Perform other duties as assigned

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: 
•    Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Engineering.
•    At least 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility.
•    Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
•    Experience in high speed manufacturing and PLC Controls. 
•    Knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics and TPM systems.
•    Experience with Six Sigma, Lean or other improvement philosophies.
•    SAP preferred

The anticipated base annual salary range for this role is between $83,800.00 and $125,800 per year. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate and is only applicable for California residents. The salary range could be different for applicants who do not reside in California. The final salary will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
