To reinforce our team at any of our Ardagh Glass Plant in Europe we are looking for a Batch Plant and Environmental Systems Engineer (m/f/d) in our CTS Department (Central Technical Services) as soon as possible.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Coordinate batch and environmental projects in our 20 plants in Europe
  • Develop options to achieve technical, environmental and commercial requirements
  • Prepare a detailed specification and invitations to tender
  • Carry out cost / materials estimates and the technical part of the procurement process
  • Participate in the project teamwork during the planning phase
  • Supervise site works and contractors and coordinate interfaces with other project areas
  • Supervise and manage commissioning and performance tests
  • Monitor the developments of related technologies and contribute to group knowledge
  • Adhere to and enforce all Health and Safety regulations and policies
  • Promote the implementation of best practices / standardized technologies
  • Delivery of innovations to drive competitive advantage for Ardagh

 

Requirements:

 

  • Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering or similar qualifications as e. g. certified Engineer or Technician in glass technology
  • Experience in Project Management and supervising of the team and contractors
  • 3-5 years job experience in the engineering field
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Ownership of a driving license
  • Preferly based in Bad Münder or any other Ardagh Glass Europe Plant
  • Commitment for business trips, also for unscheduled travel in case of problems
  • Projects usually require the attendance of a few months at one of our plant locations
