The Business Partner (BP) Key Account controller is responsible to support price setting for our largest customers, driving and coordinating initatives to add value while ensuring adherence and implementation of business relevant processes.


Key Responsibilities:

Business Partnering and Decision support:
•    Act as a trusted advisor to key account managers and senior sales leadership, providing financial guid-ance and insights
•    Support sales teams in contract negotiations, ensuring financial viability and profitability
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, supply chain, and production, to align sales strategies with operational and financial goals
•    Drive data-driven decision-making through scenario modeling and business case evaluations.
•    Monitor and analyze sales performance for key accounts, identifying trends, risks, and develop recom-mendations for optimizing pricing performance

Customer Pricing:
•    Making decisions what prices to propose to our largest customers
•    Conducting profitability analysis, including customer margin analysis, pricing strategies, and cost devel-opments
•    Contribute to the development of pricing models to maximize revenue and margin
•    Analyzing large amounts of data to identify opportunities to add value and/or grow the business through price setting
•    Conduct market research and competitive analysis: Stay informed about industry best practices, competi-tor pricing strategies, and emerging pricing trends.

Key Account tenders:
•    Analyze and gather data from multiple sources to create presentations
•    Present proposals and recommendations to Sales and senior management 
•    Support creation of negotiation strategy
•    Track in detail offers and counteroffers recording the financial implication of decisions
•    Take part in direct customer negotiations face-to-face or over conference

Responsible for Customer Transactions:
•    Liaise directly with key account customers to agree important details relevant for pricing eg. For Metal and energy
•    Provide data to Trading Organizations to enter customer’s pricing into systems
•    Coordinate with customers and internally to create settlements for rebates, metal reconciliation and other ad hoc transactions


Reporting and Forecast:
•    Responsible for recording accurate inputs for key account customers into budgets and forecasts
•    Explain variances between forecasts and actual
•    Be at the forefront of analyzing data and reports relevant to key account customers to identify opportuni-ties and risks

Project Management:
•    Lead controlling related projects related to digitalization, automation, and business intelligence tools to drive improvements in ways of operating
•    Support business projects and share knowledge as a subject matter expert for key account customers

Processes:
•    Ensure adherence to key business processes such as customer offer and contract approval
•    Enhance sales controlling processes, identifying and implementing best practices

Compliance:
•    Ensure adherence to internal financial guidelines, policies, and external compliance requirements
•    Support internal and external audits related to sales finance and revenue recognition

Commercial excellence:
•    Understanding cost inflation mechanisms and their impact on potential choices in terms of price increases mechanism (PPI index, cost inflation coverage, PPI, PT, hedging FX/Alu LME/Alu premi-um/Energy/Fuel/Steel). 
•    Support TCO and PIFU development and maintenance
•    Support Sales Performance Measurement development and maintenance


Requirements:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with focus on Finance /Controlling and Communication
•    Minimum 3 years financial experience as a business partner in an international, preferably manufacturing, environment 
•    Good financial understanding, deep understanding of business processes and business demands, analyt-ical skills and creativity
•    Experience: sales process, controlling, strategic thinking, planning, business case management, scenario planning, and financial evaluation of investment decision
