We are looking for Chemical Process Support Engineer.

 

Provide engineering service to the business in line with the defined processes focusing on manufacturing support across EU plants.

 

 Responsiblities:

•    Responsible to provide manufacturing support in line with defined business processes.
•    The main areas of responsibility are all engineering subjects related to chemical can making process
      (washer, DI System, wastewater treatment, water treatment, coolant system, related chemi-cals and lubes)
•    Responsible for compliance with the Company Management Systems (e.g. Project, Quality, Envi-ronmental, Health & Safety Regulations). 
•    Responsible for compliance with latest international rules, regulations and standards. 
•    Responsible for compliance with Ardagh business.
•    Drive/support introduction/implementation of new chemical products
•    Preactively update on latest internal and external rules and regulations.
•    Application of actual rules and regulations in daily business. Actively interfere on recognition of ig-nored rules and regulation of others.
•    Benchmarking different technologies and propose optimizations and investments in new technologies.
•    Active involvement in spoilage reduction.
•    Active involvement in water consumption reduction.
•    Active involvement in safety 
•    Chemical process optimization.
•    Close collaboration with internal and external resources to meet safety, time, cost and quality ob-jectives.
•    Responsible for the standardization and harmonization of manufacturing processes and equipment across the AMP locations.
•    Drive the standardization approach using actively the ABP tool to place ABP’s and transform active ones into equipment specifications.
•    Responsible to maintain and extend supplier contacts and observe the relevant market for new technologies and equipment. 
•    Responsible to initiate and execute manufacturing process and equipment improvements in line with defined business processes. 
•    Support benchmarking exercises by collecting and analysing data and developing improvement programs. 
•    Organize regular information exchange with internal stake holders. 
•    Provide full documentation of manufacturing support activities through manufacturing support work platform.
•    Drive knowledge transfer across plants and cross-functionally - Training of new and improving the knowledge of existing employees. 
•    Support on new lines start up.
•    Introduction of new methodologies for monitoring the quality of cans after the washing processes.
 

Requirements:

  • Graduated chemical / process engineer or equivalent education. 
  •  3-5 years in an international, automated production environment.   
  • 5+ years in Process Support within manufacturing, focusing on FE/Wet Systems. 
  • Proven track record in coaching, knowledge transfer, and standardization. 
  • Experience in applying regulatory compliance and process optimization. 
  • Strong collaboration skills to meet safety, time, cost, and quality goals.
  • Broad understanding of Plant Operations with demonstrated experience in manufacturing support
