Finance Team Leader

We are looking for Fixed Asset Team Lead

Responsibilites:

• Lead and oversee the day-to-day functions of Fixed Assets (FA) and manage the FA team (Organizing FA work and FA team performance management)
• Meets Fixed Assets operational standards by coordinating and managing the team 
• Record and manage Fixed Assets and Lease accounting transactions in compliance with IFRS, Local GAAP, Tax regulations, and company policies
• Monitoring system of controls, procedures, forms
• Reconcile Fixed Asset Registers with the General Ledger and investigate discrepancies
• Maintain asset inventory reports and coordinate, plan, and support annual physical asset counts
• Prepare and analyze reports for stakeholders, including asset trends, cash flow, lease capitalization
• Supervising dispute management: work proactively with countries to solve any business issues
• Managing and coordinating month/quarter/year end activities
• Supporting automation activities
• Compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Ensuring compliance with tax and accounting legislation
• Ensuring compliance with company’s internal controls
• Support of external/internal audit (SOx, Rabo, Hilco, Tax, Group, Statutory)
• Training of AP team members  Providing training and continuous professional development of all team members
• Maintaining good relationships with clients  Proactive cooperation with clients for joint resolution of potential problems

Requirements:

• University degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field or qualified by experience
• Fluent in English
• “Experienced and skilled user of Microsoft Office – especially advance in Excel
• Knowledge of SAP/Oracle or any other major ERP system
• Relevant experience from financial roles in an international environment.
• Previous business service center experience is a plus
