We are looking for Regional Process Engineering Lead

 

The Regional Process Engineering Lead is responsible for coordinating an engineering team that supports regional plant operations and provides best available technologies.

Specifically, the role involves overseeing maintenance activities and benchmarking between plant processes and technologies, propose optimization for spare parts handling, energy efficiency initiatives, safety compliance (including machine guarding systems), and active engagement with the global technology network to apply and develop technology standards. 

 

Responsibilities:

•    Oversee the development and implementation of new processes to enhance productivity and efficiency within the organization.
•    Analyse existing workflows and identify areas for improvement, recommending changes to mini-mize bottlenecks and streamline operations.
•    Facilitate cross-functional team meetings to ensure alignment on process improvement initiatives and gather input from various stakeholders.
•    Document all process changes and updates, creating comprehensive manuals and guidelines for staff training and reference.
•    Ensure the compliance with all relevant to the function legal requirements. 
•    Analysis of technical defects and create root cause analyses, and support plants in learning pro-cess. 
•    Ensuring compliance and improving safety standards.
•    Responsible for the selection and introduction of new equipment, components, and technologies, as well as the evaluation and analysis of performance.
•    Standard-compliant with specific management systems (quality management, project manage-ment, environmental management, occupational health and safety).
•    Responsible and supporting the standardization and technical documentation of machines and systems as well as components.
•    Support initiatives to maximize operational outputs and minimize operational costs around respon-sibility, e.g. overhead materials, tools, machine spare parts, maintenance…
•    Participation in internal and external working groups and project teams
•    Active involvement in planning, organization and monitoring of maintenance compliance and scheduled maintenance. 
•    Implementation of the results of weak point analyses and measures for process improvement.
•    Responsible execution of tests and optimisation of materials and individual processes.
•    Organisation of Processes Benchmarking.
•    Responsible for introduction to the standardized process and development of new technical solutions. 
•    Manage and Develop Process Engineering Team to enable them to achieve operational objectives and to improve performance.
•    Cooperation with R&D, supply and demand, procurement and other departments
 

Qualification:

•    Graduated mechanical or electrical engineering, MBA will be an advantage
•    Good knowledge of common application programs - CAD, SAP, MS Office, databases, PLC, Infini-ty, WinCC incl. programming 
•    Minimum 8 years of work experience into Process Engineering technology in a manufacturing set up with management responsibility

•     At least 5 years of comparable professional experience in an internationally active company, ideally with a fully automated production line

•     Knowledge about different maintenance methods and track record f their implementation (preventive, predictive, autonomous..)
•    Demonstrated track record of leading and developing others and transferring knowledge
•    Experience in translating results and requirements into practice
•    Experience with CAPEX project and ROI calculations, budgeting and forecasting (OPEX)
•    Good understanding of modern lean manufacturing techniques (SMED, Keizen, 6S, Kanban, SPC / 6 Sigma, TPM / OEE)

•    Broad understanding of Plant Operations, preferably with demonstrated experience in various roles
