Customs Coordinator (m/f/d)
in Bonn or any Ardagh location in Europe

 

Job description:

You support us in complying with EU-27 customs regulations, documentation and all customs related processes.  You are responsible for the correct handling of all import and export processes as well as related processes. You provide advice on all aspects of customs matters, including new customs procedures or regulations. 

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Monitoring import and export processes with regard to compliance with national and international customs and export control regulations
  • Independent processing and clarification of incidents 
  • Communication with suppliers, customers, customs agents, customs authorities and freight forwarders  
  • Obtaining long-term supplier declarations
  • Support with and participation in tariffing of goods as well as in preference calculations
  • Application for and updating of customs authorisations
  • Collaboration with respect to the further development and optimisation of internal customs processes


Requirements:

  • Completed commercial apprenticeship or Bachelor degree
  • Knowledge of the relevant customs regulations
  • Professional experience in customs clearance
  • Experience in industry would be an advantage
  • Safe handling of common customs software solutions and MS Office products
  • Communication skills, service- and solution-oriented work
  • Fluent English skills
