Planning Solutions Analyst (m/f/d)

located in Bonn or any other Ardagh location

 

As a Planning Solutions Analyst, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, deployment and enhancement of planning tools and integrated planning solutions to achieve defined business goals.

 

  • You will evaluate project inquiries, analyze processes in the areas of sales and distribution and materials management in collaboration with your internal customers, define requirements and develop solutions that meet our objective of company-wide standardization as well as local requirements.
  • As a project manager, you will independently manage small and medium-sized projects – from the initial idea, through design and build to integration tests and deployment, you will actively engage with all parties involved and thus ensure the smooth going live of "your" solutions.
  • In rollout projects, you will assume management of sub-projects for sales and operational planning, production scheduling and materials management and ensure that targets are reliably met in terms of deadlines, costs and quality.
  • As planning analyst you will own and proactively progress projects or support requests according to SLA to include configuration of solution in SAP ECC, SAP IBP,  integrated S&OP, financial planning and other planning solutions.
  • With concise documentation and practical training, you support users in making optimum use of the planning solutions functionalities.
  • Always seeking better solutions, you monitor the performance of your systems, identify optimization potential, initiate development projects, and proactively implement innovations.
  • In all of this, you will work very closely with our Business Stakeholders, Group IT Application and Infrastructure Services Team, as well as , because networking and sharing best practices are an integral part of our culture. You will also experience lean management and quick decisions as a matter of course.
     

Requirements

  • Minimum education level preferred is Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Management Information Systems or Business Administration 
  • At least 5 years of experience with Financial Planning (e.g. SAP BPC, SAP SAC, CCH Tagetik), SAP S/4 PPDS, SAP PPM and SAP IBP or comparable sales and operational planning tools will be a plus.
  • Expertise in interfaces with integrated 3rd party planning solutions.
  • At least 3 full lifecycle implementation projects were managed by you, at least one of these projects with you in a team lead role
  • Skills in process modelling and maintenance according to BPMN 2.0 as well as creating comprehensive documentations are beneficial
  • Maybe you already have experience in a manufacturing organization, preferably in the packaging manufacturing industry.
  • Well-structured and self-organized way of working paired with strong process-discipline and a target-oriented mindset
  • Strong in analysis and concept development, convincing in consulting, hands-on and solution-oriented in implementation
  • Strong project management and process improvement skills and background in process improvements, product launches, financial as well as sales and operational planning
  • Excellent understanding of business processes in the area of Production Scheduling, Sales and Operational Planning and Financial Planning.
  • Experienced in working with international, decentralized teams.
  • Clear and open in communication, fluent in English, other language will be an advantage
  • Innovative, enthusiastic and a strong team player who knows how to successfully mediate between different interests
  • Ability to succinctly report status and present results while working in a demand-driven environment
  • ITIL experience preferred
  • MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Visio and MS Project preferred
