Project Engineer Manufacturing Support (m/f/d)
for Ardagh Metal Packaging Europe
Role Description:
Optimisation of production equipment and product
- Support end plants in reducing cost, improving quality and efficiency of all equipment
- Work with suppliers & Ardagh functions to introduce new tooling and optimised products
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cost reduction,- and rationalisation projects
- Tooling/ equipment trials
- Support End Centers
- Technical documentation
- Product performance issues (claims)
- New equipment
Requirements:
- Higher Technical Education (mechanical or process)
- Toolmaker or adequate education
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Project management skills
- MS Office
- CAD knowledge beneficial
- 5 + years in the aluminium stamping & forming process
- Experience in working with thin materials (ideally Aluminium)
- Operation of high speed presses
- Technical/ Engineering Skills
- Maintenance background
- Process Control/ Statistics helpful
- Pro-active/ self-starter
- Analytical mind
