This is a Hybrid Working Contract - With at least 2 days in the office.

 

Overall responsibility:

The role is focused on business partnering the direct and indirect procurement category leaders with a combined annual spend of c.5bn. The position holder will interface all Ardagh BUs finance teams in relation to procurement topics.  

 

Key deliverables:

  • Forecast/Budget/LRP:
    • Support the Budget/Forecast and Long Range Plan (LRP) procurement process by collating price information from Procurement department
    • Use in-depth understanding of forecast numbers and ensure the price forecasts are based on the most realistic view of the supply market situation
    • Provide insights to the business on the material cost performance
  • Procurement function budget management:
    • Provide Procurement Leadership with insights on actual spending to enable delivery of budget
    • Provide project cost assessments and input into Procurement investment proposals
    • In close collaboration with BU Finance teams to establish control & monitoring of SG&A spend categories
  • Procurement business partnering:
    • Develop collaboration with Procurement department to identify opportunities and risks related to sourcing
    • Support driving cash agenda with Finance teams
  • Digital:
    • Support implementation of the digital tool related to the spend visibility

Experience:

 

  • 3+ years of experience in finance / consulting, preferably focused in procurement / supply chain area in consumer goods or manufacturing industry
  • Track record in operating in complex and global environment
  • Experience in building agile financial models related to the cost management, forecasting and scenario modelling  
  • Project management experience

 

Skills / competencies:

 

  • Excellence in execution with strong accountability and responsibility to achieve the results
  • Effective communication and influencing skills, customer focused
  • MS Office, Power BI
  • Fluency in English
