Ardagh Metal Packaging is looking for Global Project Manager Operational Excellence & Growth

 

Role overview:

Management of projects related to the definition, deployment and assessment of the initiatives related to Growth and AMPS. More precisely, the role will be supporting in creating lean standards, auditing, and assessing the workbooks, equipment standards, reporting status of the plants in both areas. Note: request for travel up to 50% in next couple of months.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Support and follow up on the definition of the various projects related with different initiatives of Growth and AMPS. As examples (but not limited):

• Creation of OPEX workbook

• Implementation of OPEX workbook

• Supporting in audits to state Operational Excellence level of the plants

• Supporting in deploying lean manufacturing and OPEX mentality

• Creation of materials for lean methodology deployment

• Creation of tracking systems for the projects

• Follow up on the status in terms of AMPS for the plants

• Support in creation of technical standards.

Coaching the teams in the implementation of the different initiatives with a very strong focus in operational excellence initiatives as well as on technical standards.

Support AMP Global in the identification of opportunities to improve and make the company more competitive.

Close collaboration with different regions to support identifying Best Practices and support for proper communication across the locations/sites.

Close collaboration with other functions such as: IT, CI, Innovation, Production, Quality.

High involvement in tracking savings coming from Operational Excellence initiatives.

Standardization and harmonization of activities across the Ardagh Metal Packaging locations.

Support benchmarking and workshops exercises by collecting and analyzing data to help identifying and implementation of improvements.

Compliance with the Company Management Systems (e.g. Project, Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Regulations) and keeping it up to date.

Compliance and act according to Ardagh’s business ethics.

 

Education & Training:

  • Graduated engineer.
  • Lean/6Sigma certification or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English.
  • MS Office advance and Power BI.

 

Experience: 

 

  • Several years’ experience in developing and implementing Lean/6Sigma methodologies.
  • International project experience.
  • Several years in manufacturing environments (ideally automotive industry).
