Role description:
The IT Supply Chain Solutions Analyst acts as an internal consultant for Ardagh Group’s ERP systems (SAP and sub-systems). This role is focused on procurement and inventory management, sales and distribution, logistics (shipping and transportation) and warehouse management.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Liase as the main contact for the functional business units and their process owners for relevant topics such as application support, change requests, enhancement and new process requirements
  • Understand complex business processes and serve as subject matter experts
  • Work proactively on continuous improvement processes for ERP system usage and functions
  • Lead and assist projects of various sizes, containing internal as well as external team members
  • Collaborate with and guide external consultants in support cases and projects while ensuring best cost value for Ardagh Group
  • Align with other IT applications to integrate business and process functions into the ERP systems, providing interoperability between multiple IT systems 
  • Create and execute test scenarios to ensure quality of deliverables
  • Coordinate cross team integration activities
  • Monitor and control outsourced application support services in cooperation with the ERP AMS team

 

Minimum skills / qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Deep knowledge of SAP ERP systems, especially in logistics-relevant modules such as SD, LES, MM and WM and their integration with other SAP modules and integration to non-SAP satellite systems
  • Seven (7) years of experience in supporting and consulting SAP ERP applications
  • Ability to analyze business process requirements and specify solutions
  • Up to 40% travel 

 

Preferred skills / qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, business or other relevant fields
  • Previous experience in an international company as a project lead
