Purpose of the role: 

An excellent career opportunity is currently available for a Human Resources Manager / HR Business Partner with strong recruitment; organizational development and transformation experience within the Ardagh business supporting the Corporate Functions at our Chicago Headquarters location. In this role you will utilize your experience in Human Resources Management to significantly impact and support the Corporate Function leadership and their teams. This position reports to the Corporate Functions HR Director with a matrix line into the Business unit Vice President of Human Resources.

You will partner with cross-functional teams and leaders to actively engage in staffing, organizational development, & talent management. You will build upon and rely on your HR functional expertise and effectiveness to align critical human resources principles with business objectives. You will align and support organizational transformations and staffing strategies to promote talent and growth.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Increase the overall performance of the Corporate Functions teams by creating strong interactive partnerships with their leadership teams
  • Build a workforce that creates a competitive advantage by recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent
  • Support the business lines in creating plans to optimize employee engagement
  • Drive continuous improvement and lead change in the Human Resources organization
  • Drive a culture of performance, results and positive employee relations
  • Establish and lead and effective sustainable workforce planning strategy
  • Coach leaders on talent management, and performance differentiation
  • Own, monitor and improve HR Metrics and KPI’s
  • HR partner to the Corporate Functions on organization design and transformation effort
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in an HR or business field
  • 5+ years of HR Business Partner / Manager experience in a corporate environment
