Candidates that have the mechanical aptitude and experience of working directly with production equipment i.e. conveyors, sprays, ovens, printers etc. and know the importance of proper and timely maintenance of machinery and equipment.
Operates console that controls automatic Palletizing equipment to sort, inspect, transfer, and stack on pallets with various can sizes.
Constantly checks can lines for tipped or jammed cans, removes cans from line, and examines cans for obvious defects.
Removes jammed broken or out of square pallets from pallet feed and discharge mechanism.
Removes defective cans and informs supervisor of constant defect.
Turns selector switch on palletizer to control stacking arrangement of cans on the pallet and to transfer loaded pallet to storage or delivery platform.
May keep record of production and equipment performance.
Exposed to moderate to high noise level.
Must be able to lift 30lbs.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Candidates must be able to work overnights and weekends.
Schedules are four days on and four days off continuously throughout the year. Hours are twelve hour shifts with overtime paid after 8 hours worked.

The starting pay rate for this role is $23.99 per hour. Any future increases are dictated by the Collective Bargaining Agreement. The company also offer a Success Share Bonus that is dependent on the plant meeting certain metrics and targets. Please note that the range for the rate provided is a good faith estimate and is only applicable for roles that are based out of Illinois. The final rate will be determined after considering relevant factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and work location, where appropriate.
