Role description:
The Regional IT Director is responsible for leading and managing the IT operations within a specific geographical region. This role ensures the alignment of IT strategy with business objectives, drives technological innovation, and oversees the delivery of IT services to support operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement regional IT strategies in alignment with global IT policies and business goals
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of IT systems and infrastructure within the region
- Manage and support a team of IT professionals, fostering collaboration, growth, and accountability
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand their needs and deliver effective technology solutions
- Ensure the security and integrity of regional IT systems and data
- Manage the regional IT budget, ensuring cost efficiency and value for investment
- Oversee regional IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
- Promote innovation and support continuous improvement in IT processes and solutions
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
- Serve as the primary point of contact for IT escalations and critical incidents within the region
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, preferably within a regional or multi-site environment
- Understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and software applications
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage diverse teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
- Budget management and financial acumen
- Knowledge of IT security practices and compliance standards
- Experience in managing IT projects and driving technology-driven business transformations
- Up to 25% travel
Preferred skills / qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- Prior experience within the manufacturing industry

The anticipated base annual salary range for this role is between $181,700.00 and $272,500.00 per year. This role is bonus eligible. The bonus incentive program is based on company meeting or exceeding targets. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate and is only applicable for roles that are based out of Illinois. The final salary will be determined after considering relevant factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and work location, where appropriate.
