The Supply Planning Analyst will join our Integrated Business Planning (IBP) team and will primarily support the Associate Director of Supply Planning and the Supply Planning Manager. This position will work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to all areas of production planning. They should be results-oriented, have a natural curiosity for solving problem and be equally comfortable in team and independent work environments.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and analyzing data for creating monthly capacity plan – assist in creating Cans and Ends plan to balance customer service, inventory and costs optimally.
  • Analyze inputs for tactical planning (next 18 months) in monthly buckets, at Customer ship-to & product group level along with providing support in monthly S&OP cycle.
  • Performing Inventory analysis, update and management of inventory levels across all sizes and customers
  • Work closely with AMP’s nine North America-based facilities to understand operations and engineering developments by plant to be able to capture and maintain output constraints or opportunities.
  • Provide executional supply plan support to plant Production Control managers for operational planning.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate at all levels of the organization.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related subject required
  • Computer skills: Applicants should possess advanced Microsoft skills, SAP and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI) a plus
  • Strong analytical skills: can work with large data sets to provide analytical support to all aspects of the business
  • Excellent oral and written skills
  • A strong desire to learn new skills and information
  • High level of dependability and organization
  • Ability to travel up to 15%
