Install repair and maintain production equipment in a glass container manufacturing facility. Fabricate parts tools gauges metalpoly shafts and sprockets. Sets up and operates lathes grinders shapers milling machines drill presses and other metalworking equipment. Must have full knowledge of weldingfabrication lathe and milling pneumatic hydraulics and the ability to troubleshoot electromechanical systems. May assist others performing large or complex machining or mechanical work. Minimum Qualifications Ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent with some manufacturing experience desired. Ability to work weekly rotating shifts. Must be able to standwalk for eight hours per day requires pushpull up to 75 lbs. Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs Must have ability to work at heights and enclosed areas. Must have good interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with team members. Comply with Environmental and Food Safety standards as set forth in plant policiesprograms within Department responsibilities. Environment and Physical requirements Plant manufacturing environment with exposure to heat fumes and moving machinery. Requires a significant amount of walking. Hearing eye protection and safety shoes must be worn in the plants as well as other Personal Protective Equipment PPE as required.
