Ardagh Glass Ltd, a premier supplier of glass containers to the food and beverage industry is currently seeking to strengthen its operation with the recruitment of an Electrician at its Doncaster site, reporting to the Electrical Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Performing Preventative Maintenance (PM)
  • Attending Breakdowns
  • General instrumentation activities
  • Small electrical installations
  • Design and build of control panels and systems
  • PLC programming, although not essential as training will be given
  • Ability to understand technical drawings, including electrical schematics
  • General Factory Electrical maintenance
     

The ideal candidate will also have:

  • Gained a recognised Apprenticeship in Electrical engineering, or relevant equivalent qualification
  • Analytical skills
  • Commitment and enthusiasm to support a 24 hour process
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to follow instruction and work under pressure
  • Health, safety & hygiene awareness
  • IT/Computer skills
  • A commitment to continuous improvement
