Sales Controller AGP-E (m/f/d)

At this moment we are looking for a Sales Controller AGP-E.

(Role can be based in: Germany, The Netherlands, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, UK or Italy)

 

Purpose of the Job:

Main purpose of this role is to drive, improve and develop all sales controlling related processes, systems, and projects within Ardagh Glass Packaging – Europe.

This does include reporting and analysis as well as planning, but also support of internal customers and product costing related activities. 

Beside the above also system improvements, automatizations in e.g. SAP-COPA, BW, SAC as well as volume analysis, coordination / steering in Intercompany Sales and Purchases are part of this role.

 

Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Active collaboration and cooperation within and outside of BU’s Finance and Sales Teams
  • Ensure strong link to production and operations reporting
  • Ensure correct and timely analysis and reporting (daily, monthly, quarterly, yearly)
  • Participate in various ad-hoc tasks as per business requirement
  • Coordinate and support sales volume planning (system, valuation, analysis) together with BU-Sales-Teams
  • Pro-actively seek and spot areas for overall improvements in processes, systems and reporting what will improve cross-functional consistency and understanding
  • Taking active part in prioritization of projects in areas mentioned above
  • Key role in yearly product costing and its analysis (strong team for product costing already established)
  • Support outside the box thinking, and innovation/change mind set
  • Drive ‘SAP Best Practice’, helping to align working practices across the GE locations by standardizing procedures and improving efficiency within SAP
  • Coordinate / ensure relevant SOX-controls are performed in time 

 

Education & Training:

Master or University degree in finance or controlling

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing business
  • Ability to plan, think strategically and work independently as well as self-driven, but target based
  • Good people skills
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively across the organization
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong IT/System (SAP, BW, SAC, PowerBI, MS-Office) competency

  • Excellent written and verbal local (German, Dutch, Polish, Danish, Swedish or Italian) and English communication skills.
