Job Description

This position is responsible for the investigation and extension of credit limits to new and existing customer, per approved guidelines.

Duties also include:

  • Perform Risk Assessment for all Customer Accounts, new and existing (annual reviews and increase requests), within designated approval levels.
  • Ensure compliance with all SOX policies & procedures involving function.
  • Process credit references, perform filing maintenance and supporting for the function.
  • Assist department manager in Monthly Credit reporting to senior management as well as KPI administration.
  • Work closely with Sales to support corporate goals and strategy
  • Identify and pursue process improvement opportunities impacting the area
  • Assist with Vendor credit assessment requests as needed
  • Administer Credit insurance program as needed
  • Assist with 3rd party collections administration as needed
  • Complete special projects as assigned

     

     

           Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidate will posses an undergraduate degree in business, accounting, finance or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years experience in a credit analyst function.  Manufacturing and/or distribution environment experience is preferred.
  • Must have excellent computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft applications Excel and prior experience with SAP is preferred.
  • Ability to solve problems, reason, make and carry-out decisions, as well as analyze data.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

            Salary Grade: OB                     

            Target Bonus: 10%                     

            Reports to: Director, Credit & Collections

            Travel: 0%
