SAP Security Analyst

This is a North America role within the Ardagh IT department. This role will be responsible for the SAP security user/role administration and user access, and day to day operation of the NA IT Security Management process for North America. 

 

This position provides security administration and end-user access request management for the SAP environments across multiple North America systems to include SAP ECC, BI, BOBJ, TMS, APO, APP, Portals, and PI for more than 2000 users.  Creates users and provisions authorization roles.  Furthermore, this position works with project managers and cross functional stake holders in projects and enhancements providing requirements analysis, security design of complex authorization roles, development, testing, and implementation of SAP security roles/profiles across all SAP systems following the Sox IT governance control structure methodology. Ensures adherence to Ardagh standards, policies and procedures globally.  In addition, this position evaluates and improves the existing internal security framework and compliance within the organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Translate business project/enhancement requirements into technical security requirements, design complex authorization roles, test, and implement with Functional leads.  Provision roles to requested users after completion of SOD analysis.
  • Manage different SAP internal & external security audit activities to meet SAP Security compliance requirements
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented security systems/processes and update for each change
  • Administers solutions that facilitate user provisioning/de-provisioning, authentication/authorization, and reporting based on business needs, industry best practices, and Audit/regulatory requirements by working with IT team and Business Unit owners
  • Design or re-design composite roles, parent-child derived roles, and single roles; have deep technical skills in all SAP authorization areas including tables, t-codes and underlying objects.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of eight of related experience implementing and maintaining SAP security concepts and strategies (role design, profile generation, authorization objects, etc.) and operational administration (PFCG role maintenance)
  • ITIL foundation level training SAP Security experience (role design, profile generation, authorization objects, user creation/modification)
  • Experience with governance tool such as ERP Maestro or SAP GRC preferred (SOD analysis)
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills required
  • SAP Security manufacturing experience in an SAP environment with multiple locations
  • Managing privilege access and sensitive access review and testing in SAP ECC
