This position is responsible for overseeing the financial reporting function, providing guidance on accounting standards, managing both internal and externals audits and responsibility of the Sox process. This position will also perform key analyses related to Sox compliance and provide process improvements to ensure a strong control environment. Requires broad conceptual judgment, quantitative thinking, strong initiative, and the ability to deal with complex business and financial problems.


  • Organize presentation of financial reporting information to GNA and Ardagh Group management according to internal and external reporting requirements.

·       Lead the development and improvement of GNA’s financial reporting function process including assessment and implementation of in compliance with current accounting standards.

  • Provide accurate monthly and quarterly financial reporting to management and Group.
  • Lead in the design and implementation of effective controls environment, working closely with functional leaders to ensure controls are designed and executed in an effective manner.

·       Exhibit a strong service orientation and high level of engagement with business partners and effectively lead and development staff members.


Minimum Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.

·       CPA, CFA, CIMA, or MBA required.

·       10+ years’ experience in financial analysis/financial management and internal control systems. Experience in a manufacturing environment will be preferred.

·       Familiarity and aptitude in working with financial and accounting software and Bl tools.

·       Excellent skills and experience with Excel modeling concepts. Deep knowledge of SAP and/or any ERP based software will be considered an advantage.

·       Strong organizational and communication skills.

·       Excellent project management and decision-making skills

·       The ability to work on their own or with a team as required
