Multi-Skilled Mould Repair Fitter

Role description:


We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Mould Repair Fitter to strengthen our operation within a busy Mould Repair Dept at our Knottingley Business Unit.

The successful candidate must be an experienced apprentice trained self-motivated proactive individual with good dexterity & hand eye co-ordination in bench fitting.

Knowledge of LEAN processes & the ability to operate manual & CNC turning / milling machinery of would be advantageous.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify & repair damaged mould & neck equipment to maintain high quality standards, using spray welding techniques, hand & power tooling, manual milling & surface grinding equipment as required
  • Reading engineering drawings & modifying mould equipment as directed to assist the production forming process
  • Experience & knowledge in manual turning & operating CNC machinery would be an advantage
