Hybrid Working Contract (Minimum 2 days a week in the office)

 

Role Description:

As an Enterprise Architect you will be a key leader in the identification of risks and opportunities within the current technology landscape, identifying and recommending the implementation of overarching strategies, directing initiatives to mitigate risk, and contributing to the IT community activities (e.g., templates, processes, execution models). In this role, you will foster a positive, engaging and challenging team-focused global work environment and provide thought leadership and support to a global virtual team of solution architects.

Key deliverables include:

  • Contribute in defining the architecture principles, Standards and reference models 
  • Ensure solution designs are appropriate, innovative and compliant with governance frameworks and align with the Enterprise Architecture strategy
  • Contribute to Ardagh’s IT Strategy, the long range plan and other assessments across capability & technology areas
  • Engage with all appropriate stakeholders to ensure early involvement of Architecture
  • Manage Ardagh’s global virtual team of solution architects
  • Present to business leaders and other stakeholders on IT architectural aspects
  • Share insight into areas for improvement, mitigation of risks and opportunities to generate business value
  • Encourage cross functional collaboration across Ardagh Group

 

Skills

  • Previous experience in IT Architecture role, preferably Enterprise Architecture
  • Experience in executing or working with TOGA Architecture Development Method (ADM) or equivalent architecture framework
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Stakeholder management, including being able to handle ambiguity and managing conflict
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to translate strategy into action for the Enterprise Architecture team
  • Understanding technology trends in our industry
  • Capability to assess the opportunities and constraints of new technologies for our organisation
