CTS Engineer

As a CTS Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for customer requests. You will conduct regular visits to their industrial sites, provide detailed reports, and offer recommendations to optimize filling installations. You will collaborate with internal teams to resolve quality issues and manage the qualification of new AMP products. Additionally, you will organize audits and technical training for customers while keeping the internal database updated. This dynamic role allows you to play a key part in the continuous improvement of AMP’s services.
Main Activities:
- Conduct regular visits to customer sites, meeting expected service levels and providing complete and detailed visit reports.
- After training, provide recommendations and technical support to improve and optimize customers’ filling installations.
- Share information, technical documents, and updates regarding Ardagh specifications and new products.
- Manage technical activities through regular technical and commercial reviews.
- Perform interventions to adjust customer machines, especially seamers; advise and support when adjustments are needed, and proactively carry out regular checks as part of expected customer service.
- Act as the first point of contact for customers’ technical requests.
- Support departments such as Customer Care, Sales, Ardagh production plants, and customers in analyses required to resolve quality issues.
- Fully manage the qualification of new can/lid sizes, material weight reduction initiatives, or the introduction of new materials, in collaboration with other group departments.
- Conduct comprehensive audits of filling lines, warehouses, and packaging for the benefit of the group and its customers.
- Use problem-solving skills and techniques to help customers resolve line issues.
- Organize technical training (manufacturing process, seaming, use of AMP products) for customers.
- Regularly update the customer information “Hub” with visit reports, technical changes, and customer requirements.
- Achieve locally set objectives in line with Ardagh CTS’s overall and functional goals.
Profile Required:
The selected candidate must demonstrate a strong ability to work both independently and in full collaboration with relevant departments, solid mechanical knowledge, the ability to plan and prioritize autonomously, and consistent motivation.
The position requires a valid driver’s license and fluency in English. One or more additional European languages is a plus.
The candidate must also have excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with all levels of hierarchy.
Frequent travel is expected within France and abroad.
