This is a great opportunity to join a new team establishing what Resilience means and looks like for Ardagh; designing and implementing a new methodology, from framework to processes, policies, ways of working and future testing and exercising roadmap.

 

What you’ll do:

Reporting to Group Director, Resilience – Technology & Cyber, you’ll support the capability and ability of Ardagh Group, it’s operating businesses and subsidiaries, to prepare for, respond to and recover from disruption to our global technology infrastructure and operating environments.

You’ll be a trusted expert advisor to the business on all things Operational Resilience in relation to our technology and cyber landscape, and have experience in at least one or more of the disciplines of Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Cyber Security, Risk, Incident and Crisis Management,

Work closely with our colleagues in Group Risk, Group IT and Group Cyber Security  to understand current and future risks and threat trends, identifying vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies

Be responsible for driving the components of the Resilience Framework to achieve our annual deliverables and achieve our target maturity and a clear ‘as is’ and future state resilience posture; this includes establishing and maintaining our Resilience Dashboard, up to date KPIs and other metrics on Group-wide resilience capability

Test and improve resilience capabilities by leading the development, maintenance and exercising of BC & DR plans to ensure readiness and effective response in the event of a business disruption

Ensure adequate technical and procedural controls are implemented to respond to cybersecurity incidents at any time and lead Ardagh through critical efforts to remediate cyber-attacks and computer intrusions.

Establish technology and cybersecurity crisis readiness plans for deployment in the event of a disaster and support the delivery of crisis simulation exercises

Engage with a wide network of Stakeholders at all levels across the corporate and operating businesses, ensuring they are provided with relevant, timely and accurate information which informs and directs business decisions.

Manage the delivery of resilience projects, ensuring high standards and efficient project management in all deliverables

Foster a culture of resilience throughout the organisation, driving an understanding of technology, cyber and operational resilience requirements and the business benefits of 

Lead and mentor a dynamic team of two, providing guidance and support to maximize their potential and achieve team objectives 

 

What we expect:

  • Build and embed Ardagh’s ability to prevent, respond to and recover from operational risks and their impacts through the development and delivery of a comprehensive operational resilience strategy, aligned with the organisation’s strategic objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Be the subject matter expert keeping up to date with latest developments and innovation in the field
  • Coordinate incident response efforts and facilitate effective communication across teams during incidents
  • Knowledge and understanding developing and implementing an organisational resilience framework (preferably within the manufacturing sector)
  • Good to have one or more of the following certifications: Business Continuity Management Certification (ISO 22301), ISO 27001, CBCI, CMCS, CISSP or CISM
  •  A baseline level of knowledge on the following frameworks: NIST CSF and ISO 27001
  • Experience in a global organisation in the Manufacturing, Pharma or Financial Services industries an advantage
