Role description summary
Work as member of the Glass Europe Leadership team as well as Global HR team and provide HR expertise and solutions to sustain current business, support future growth, enhance the overall effectiveness of the organisation and fostering the company values and culture; Glass Europe operates in 7 countries, 20 facilities and the role has 6 direct reports.



  • Plays a vital role in conceptualising, designing and implementing both divisional and organisation-wide HR programs and policies, in line with the ambition to strive for HR excellence of major HR processes, including recruiting, performance management, succession planning, compensation and training.
  • Ensuring a full understanding of what drives the business, its external environment and what the numbers look like, for the HR function to effectively contribute to business results and continuity. 
  • Supports operational excellence within the HR function and the business with the ambition to drive high performing culture around quality, operational performance, leadership and engagement.
  • Works with the Glass Europe Leadership team, Country teams and local HR to develop and regularly refresh succession and high potential development plans, and to identify and coordinate group training and development activities.
  • Ensuring the execution of key internal controls within your area of responsibility in line with the established Group internal control framework
  • Delivers input to Global HR strategy and developing Divisional HR strategy. Ensures proper execution of the strategy

Desired skills/ Qualifications

  • Min 10 years in an international HR leader role
  • Excellent business partnering skills
  • CIPD HR management qualified or equivalent
  • Background as coach and/or experienced with training would be advantageous
  • High level of integrity
  • Excellent communicator – especially listening, influencing and presenting
  • Motivator, Influencer, Creative thinker
  • Fluent English
