Ardagh Metal Beverage Netherlands B.V. is a producer of cans for the beverage industry. From our location in Oss, we produce more than 8 million cans daily for various major brands. Our head office is located in Zurich. We are part of the Ardagh Group that are also active in the glass industry in addition to tin packaging. 280 colleagues work in Oss, the majority of whom work in five shifts.

We are looking for a new colleague who is enthusiastic about a high-tech process environment in the function of;


Electrical service technician

5 shift work


After you have had the handover from the previous team, you will start working with the malfunctions reported by the team leader. Together you determine the priority. If there are no disruptions during your service, you are independently working on (improvement) projects in the workplace or you are preparing work for the colleague who will be relieving you. In addition to working independently, you are present a large part of the time in the production process and together with the process engineers you determine where improvements can possibly be made in our complex and dynamic process. Amongst other, you’ll be working on:


• Maintenance and resolution of malfunctions in the electrical field of:

- Light, power and low-voltage installations

- All control installations related to production, but also peripheral equipment.

- Measuring systems.

• Performing changes, revisions, extensions and new construction work in the electronic field to the above-mentioned installations.

• Performing repairs and overhauls on electric motors and electronics units.

• Ensuring thorough failure reporting.

• Loading, modifying and expanding the operating system programs.

• Giving instructions to production employees about operating the transport and machine controls.

• Analyzing and signaling recurring failures and coming up with possible structural solutions.


Your profile;

• You have a completed vocational technical school Electrical Engineering/ Mechatronics.

• You have extensive knowledge of Siemens S7 / TiaPortal.

• You have extensive Electrical knowledge of motors, Eplan and PLC controls

• You are familiar with the machines and equipment that are required to perform the work to be performed in an electrical engineering department.
