Role Description:

 

This role will strengthen commercial organization across the regions by increasing our capabilities to drive profitable growth opportunities and by providing analytical support to optimize customers’ portfolios. This role will support usage of tools and implement processes to foster commercial excellence across Metal Europe commercial organization that drive sustainable revenue and margin growth in short-, mid- and long- run. The Commercial Excellence analyst will report to the Commercial Excellence Manager providing analytical support for effective decision making.


Key Responsibilities:

 

•    Provide analytical support to development of a pricing strategy by market segment following our overall commercial strategy.
•    Provide analytical support to development of a pricing strategy by key account during yearly strategic planning cycle to be ready for upcoming key customer decisions and global tender response (in collaboration with the commercial team).
•    Understanding cost inflation mechanisms and their impact on potential choices in terms of price increases mechanism (PPI index, cost inflation coverage, PPI, PT, hedging FX/Alu LME/Alu premium/Energy/Fuel/Steel). 
•    Ensure a proper contracts management process/system (contract framework with minimum mandatory clauses, contract renewal process, contractual gaps).
•    Develop analytics to optimize customer and product portfolio based on standard margin.
•    Develop the process of answering tenders and price negotiation to optimize network, capacity and margin.

 

Required Qualifications:
 

•    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
•    Good financial understanding, deep understanding of business processes and business demands, analytical skills, and creativity.
•    Experience with: sales process, controlling, strategic thinking, planning, business case management, scenario planning, and financial evaluation of investment decision.
•    Advanced English, other European languages are a plus.
•    Reporting Tools (Essbase & HFM), SAP, SAP BW, Office applications (incl PowerBI). 
•    Project management.
•    Action oriented and drive for results.
•    Ethics and values, perseverance, integrity and trust.
•    Approachability, understanding others, interpersonal savvy.
•    Planning and priority setting, time and process management, timely decision making.
