Role Description:

Provide to all AMP-E beverage operations in a dedicated area of expertice (Front End) in terms of coordination of Front End resources to keep conducting of its normal operation, maintenance/overhaul, troubleshooting, starts up and learning curve, problem solving. This is related to all canmaking plants of AMP-E.


Key Responsibilities:

•    Be a hands-on company specialist in the dedicated production area (Front End) by coordinating all available resources and cooperating closely with plants.
•    Support the plants to increase equipment (line) output, decrease spoilage and improve product quality (Ana-lyse technical problems, identify root cause(s) and help the plant to correct. Implement procedures where needed and train plant teams).
•    Support the plants to improve the execution of routine maintenances (daily, weekly, monthly, annually) as well as non-routine breakdown repairs. (Review maintenance plans, SOP´s and help to implement best practices. Train plant employees. Follow up through improvement plans through audits).
•    Support plant/line start-ups on major projects: Assist of the installation, commissioning and start-up of lines. Assist in training of plant teams.
•    Assist or support trials to qualify (new) materials in line with business strategy (including trial set-up with stakeholders, and issue reports). Be always fully in line with Ardagh Safety Culture - always remaining as a role model for himself and others. Establish and keep safe work environment while working on all given (or additional) tasks. Actively promot-ing Ardagh Safety Culture with demonstrating it in continuous mode.
•    Compliance with Integrated Management System (e.g. Quality, Environmental, Food, Health & Safety Regulations).
•    Establish a working environment which promotes the importance of employees acting with integrity and in an ethical manner.
•    Ensure the execution of key internal controls within the area of responsibility.
•    Demonstrate commitment to the Ardagh core values and policies and procedures.

 

Requirements:

•    Mandatory 7 years’ experience in can making industry (production or maintenance).
•    Proven track of success in terms of all mentioned group of activities for decoration systems.
•    English at communcation level.
•    Willingness to extensive travel - up to 75%.
