Role Description:
The Fulfillment Manager - is responsible for developing and managing fulfillment processes tailored to the needs of selected large, high-value customers. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with those accounts, creating and monitoring Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and ensuring fulfillment operations meet or exceed the agreed-upon standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fulfillment management within the packaging, FMCG, Pharma or Relevant high volume process industry. Finally the candidate has a proven ability to collaborate with large clients to deliver customized, high-quality solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities:
•    Demand Fulfillment:
Support customer in providing visibilty in AMP-E’s ability to fulfil near term requirements (0-13weeks) and support in overcoming Out of Stock (OoS) situations. Proactively signal risks seen in the Mid-Term (3-6months) and support in mitigating these.
•    Inventory Management: collaborate with selected large accounts developing and maintaining inventory position allowing coverage of seasonal peaks. Prepare suggested inventory levels per size or different product group, drive action plans in collaboration with region and periodically report out inventory curve development. 
•    Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with large accounts. Serve as the primary point of contact for fulfillment-related matters, ensuring that the specific needs and expectations of each client are understood and met. Support the Sales Managers on S&D related topics in preparing for/participating in the monthly/ quarterly review meetings with key customers”.
•    Customized Fulfillment Solutions: Develop and implement tailored fulfillment processes that align with the unique requirements of large customers whilst being able to integrate into AMP-E processes. Collaborate with internal teams to design and execute solutions that enhance service levels and operational efficiency. 
•    SLA Creation and Management: Develop, negotiate, and implement Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with large accounts. Clearly define expectations for order accuracy, delivery timelines, inventory levels, and other key performance metrics. Ensure that all internal teams are aligned with these SLAs.
•    Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor performance against SLAs, using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction. Prepare and present regular reports to both senior management and clients, highlighting performance, areas of improvement, and any corrective actions taken.
•    Issue Resolution: Proactively address and resolve any fulfillment-related issues or challenges that arise with large accounts. Ensure prompt resolution to maintain customer satisfaction and adherence to SLAs.
•    Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve fulfillment processes, with a focus on meeting or exceeding SLA requirements. Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance speed, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
•    Onboarding and Integration: Lead the onboarding process for new large accounts, ensuring a seamless integration of their fulfillment needs into the company's operations. Coordinate with Production, Supply&Demand, Logistics, and IT teams to establish efficient workflows and ensure compliance with SLAs.
•    Collaboration: Work closely with sales, production, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure fulfillment processes are aligned with broader business objectives and SLA commitments. Foster cross-functional collaboration to meet the needs of large accounts.
•    Customer Feedback and Continuous Improvement: Regularly gather and analyze feedback from large accounts to identify opportunities for improvement in fulfillment processes. Use insights to refine SLAs and drive strategic changes that enhance customer satisfaction.
•    Contract Management: Support the negotiation and management of contracts related to fulfillment services for large accounts. Ensure all SLA commitments are incorporated into contracts and that both parties adhere to contractual obligations.

 

Required Qualifications:
•    7+ years of experience in fulfillment, logistics, or supply chain management, with a focus on large account management and SLA creation/monitoring, preferably in the packaging or manufacturing industry.
•    Proven experience in building and managing relationships with large, complex customers.
•    Strong understanding of customized fulfillment processes, SLA development, inventory management, and logistics.
•    Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to address and resolve customer-specific challenges promptly.
•    Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external clients.
•    Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards related to fulfillment and logistics.
•    Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
•    Driving licence.
•    Ability to travel (10-20%), sometimes on short notice.


Preferred Qualifications:
•    Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
•    Familiarity with the packaging or metal manufacturing industry.
•    Experience with contract negotiation and management.
