Main Purpose of the Position:

 

To support the day to day running of our Engineering Stores. To enable spare parts to be available when needed. The management of spare parts and ensure these are booked in accurately and read-ily available. To organize and look after yard operations. Resolve invoice queries, material manage-ment and daily usage checks.
Attention to detail critical to success in this role


Key Responsibilities:

 

Systems Tasks - SAP / Multifox / Excel
- Receipting of spare parts and adding to stock.
- Creating new spare parts
- Issuing spare parts
- Invoice queries
- Inventory Management - ensuring we have correct stocks of critical parts
- Ordering Other Direct Materials (ODMs)
- Escalation of short term outages 

Physical Tasks - FLT, Manual
-  Loading / unloading deliveries
- Maintain hygiene standards - Yard and Stores
- Housekeeping duties
- Month End stock takes
- Nil bin counts / stock counts

 

Professional Requirements:

 

Languages: English spoken

Computer Skills: Microsoft Packages, SAP 

Previous Job / Project Experience: Experience in Engineering Stores. Good computer literacy a must. FLT li-cence preferred
