Job Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair and maintain production equipment in a glass container manufacturing facility.
  • Fabricate parts, tools gauges, shafts and sprockets.
  • Sets up and operates lathes grinders shapers milling machines drill presses and other metalworking equipment.
  • Must have full knowledge of welding/fabrication lathe and milling pneumatic hydraulics and the ability to troubleshoot electromechanical systems.
  • May assist others performing large or complex machining or mechanical work.
  • Comply with Environmental and Food Safety standards as set forth in plant policies/programs within Department responsibilities.

Job Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent with some manufacturing experience desired.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for eight hours per day requires push/pull up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs
  • Must have ability to work at heights and enclosed areas.
  • Must have good interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with team members.

Environment and Physical requirements:

  • Plant manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, fumes and moving machinery.
  • Requires a significant amount of walking.
  • Hearing eye protection and safety shes must be worn in the plants as well as other Personal Protective Equipment as required.

Compensation

The anticipated base annual salary range for this role is between $xx,xxx and xx,xxx per year. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate. The final salary will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
