Electro Mechanic Journeyman – Ardagh Glass, Ruston, LA

This is an hourly position:

• Maintain, install and perform general maintenance duties to all physical equipment used throughout the factory, primarily the automatic inspection equipment.
• Works on a variety of items including but not necessarily limited to AC and DC motors and generators, transformers, circuit breakers, rectifiers, control panels, PLCs, starters, switches, sheet metal and rigging.
• General electric/mechanical installation, repair and troubleshooting, fabrication and welding, pneumatic repair and troubleshooting.
• Electronic troubleshooting and repair to include circuit reading and testing.
• Instrument repair and troubleshooting including cylinders, motors, pumps, filters, photo eyes, etc..
• Perform hydraulic troubleshooting including cylinders, motors, pumps, filters photo eyes, etc… 
• Perform general plumbing, piping and mechanical installation and repair.
• Read mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical prints and troubleshoot problems using them. 
• Troubleshoot and repair all inspection equipment, conveyors, computer systems, and programmable controllers, performs general housekeeping miscellaneous duties inherent to the job. 

This will be subject to shift work.

Need 5 years of Industrial Maintenance work experience. 

This position will be subject to, but not limited to the following working conditions – cold, heat, noise, heights, solvents and other chemicals.
