Purpose of the Job:

Multi-craft position capable of performing both mechanical & electrical maintenance on various high speed stamping and forming machines.

Key Accountabilities:


  • Breakdown maintenance on mechanical and electrical process/facility equipment
  • Overhaul and teardown/rebuild responsibilities
  • Spare part rebuilds/repairs
  • Plant improvement process and facility areas
  • Work in a self-managed team environment
  • Work alongside OEM support personnel during overhauls and rebuilds
  • Support the operations personnel to help achieve optimum plant performance

  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • Familiar with Personal Protective Equipment
  • Experience working in an industrial environment
  • Minimum of two years certified formal training in Electrical & Mechanical maintenance
  • Knowledge & experience working on Programmable Logic Controller (i.e. control Logix 5000,500,5)
  • Ability to weld, install, fabricate & align mechanical equipment
  • Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot/repair pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical & electrical systems and interpret related diagrams
  • Ability to troubleshoot and program Variable Frequency drives


Key Job Competencies/Physical Demands:

  • Able to stand for long duration of time, bend, reach, kneel & climb
  • Able to lift up to 100 pounds with frequent 50 pound
  • Strict attention to precise outcomes
  • Exposure to heat, vibrations and loud noise
  • Willing and able to work overtime and night shifts
