Position Overview:
In this role you are a vital business partner and consultant to the regional CEO of Ardagh Metal Packaging (AMP) Europe and a part of the regional executive team. The solid reporting line is to the Global CFO of AMP. You shape the financial future of AMP across Europe. You have the responsibility for overseeing and managing the end-to-end operational financial business planning and analysis for AMP Europe.
Overall Accountability:
Your strategic insight and outstanding leadership skills will ensure the company maintains a strong financial foundation while optimizing growth opportunities with a high focus on sales and manufacturing performance to actively drive business unit strategy, maximise operational performance and balance sheet optimization.
In this role you are accountable that standard costing methods as well as all related financial controls are implemented across the business unit. You will also create and drive the commercial excellence pathway for AMP-E.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business partner for the AMP-E and AMP leadership team
- Drive and manage the company's financial planning (forecast reporting, budgets and long range plans)
- Consult and decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks
- Perform risk management by analyzing the organization's liabilities and investments
- Drive Commercial Excellence for AMP-E
- Actively support continuous business improvement within business / regions and function
- Ensure the execution of key internal controls within the area of responsibility
- Demonstrate commitment to core values and behaviours as well as policies and procedures
- Establish a working environment which promotes the importance of employees acting with integrity and in an ethical manner
- Leading a team of 140 colleagues, spread over different locations including a BSC for Finance
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree Business Administration or similar with focus on Finance/Controlling
- 10+ years of financial control responsibilities
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mobilize and organize resources, including the identification and involvement of key stakeholders, to meet key deliverables on time
- Solid leadership, stakeholder management and engagement skills
- Convincing interpersonal impact and personal credibility
- Proactive, detail oriented, excellent prioritisation and organisational skills
- Proven ability to design and execute large scale projects in a complex environment
- Ability to plan, think strategically and work independently
- Attention to detail and persistence
- Knowledge of procedural controls
- Change management skills
- Strong business acumen
