Manager Quality and Food Safety Management Systems


Role Description:

The main purpose of the position is to propose, maintain, monitor and develop the AMP-E Quality and Food Safety Management System on behalf of Principal in Zug, to lead the design and continuous improvement of the AMP-E Q + FS Processes and Standards in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders and to support the monitoring and documentation of them, compliant to the ISO9001 and FSSC22000 requirements. Lead of the group Q+FS and  Standards&Documentation. 


Key Responsibilities:
Leading the group Quality and Food Safety Management Systems and Standards and Documentation including:
•    Accountable for Health & Safety of employees
•    Setting the framework in which the group is working including ensuring the resources
•    Objective setting and reviews
•    Delivering of information from the organisation required for work
•    Giving professional instructions and trainings to the organization
•    Supporting the performance and quality of work by motivation, strengthening the responsibility and demonstrating cost consciousness
Design and continual improvement of the organisation’s  Quality and Food Safety Management System processes and documentation in close cooperation with all functions and in the scope of the Integrated Management System:
•    Management System Ownership of Quality and Food Safety on behalf of Principal in Zug. Controlled Documentation of Quality and Food Safety relevant documents - see below “Implementing, maintaining and monitoring FS and QMS”
•    Support IMS Coordinator on frequent certifications of standards for Ardagh, Customer and Government compliance by external certification bodies.
•    Guidance to organisation to operate a Management system
•    Cost and budget ownership on Q & FS documentation and relevant DMS
•    Support controlled documentation on Quality and Food Safety related needs 
•    Supporting plants, tradings and functions in all Quality and Food Safety requirement issues 
•    Document management - leading of Standards & Specification documentation in DMS
•    Leading Internal Q&FS audits, follow up corrective action plans 
•    Providing assistance in supplier and customer / 3rd party audits 
•    Setting defect standards for the complaint and concern management system including quality KPI reporting 
Implementing, maintaining, and monitoring Food Safety and Quality Management System
•    Development, maintaining and improving of particular management systems: process, quality (ISO 9001), Food Safety (FSSC 22000)
•    Analyse and interpretation international standards
•    Delivering of information from the organisation, which is needed for the work 
•    Support of plants and central functions in all food safety issues (application of tools, implementing of concepts, Prerequisites for Food Safety system…) 
•    Assistance in designing and documenting processes
•    Technical documentation leadership of Product, Material, Packaging specifications and requirements as requested by the technical experts and based on an issuing, approval and release procedure
Giving  professional instructions and trainings in Quality ISO9001 and Food Safety FSSC 22000 standards, requirements and implementation.


•    Degree in engineering or equivalent education,
•    More than 5 years job experience,
•    Fluent English,
•    Several years in quality,
•    Experience in Auditing and leading a Quality Management System,
